WELCOME TO THE ONLINE OFFICE OF HIS WORSHIP, THE MAYOR OF LIMURU

The Municipal Council of Limuru has developed this Website to enable citizens, stakeholders, investors, Council officers and Councilors to participate and work closely to identify, plan, implement and monitor local services and development projects.

In addition, the Council Website will be instrumental in channeling the residents and partners / stakeholders in the country and in the Kenyan Diaspora from the grassroots level – through material, logistics and financial contributions – to support local budget priorities identified.
Our vision is to be the best provider of desired infrastructure, healthy environment and quality social services in the country – and thereby realize our mission of creating and nurturing an enabling environment for social and local economic development for the citizenry of the town.
As set out in our Performance Contract with the Government, the Councilors and Staff are committed to continuous improvement of management of the Municipal Council of Limuru and delivering efficient and quality services to the public. In the process we anticipate to meet the needs and expectations of the Kenyan people.

The Municipality is  part of the greater Nairobi Metropolis. The Ministries of Local Government and Nairobi Metropolitan Development and the dedicated Council employees have focused their resources each day towards the realization of our Strategic Plan, in line with our vision and mission.
To our Business Community and the vibrant Kenyans who have shown resilience and confidence in this town, time and again, we say thank you and keep on.
Limuru is strategically located towards becoming a world class industrial, commercial and educational hub. The town presents an opportunities to INVEST in its entrepreneurial opportunities, horticultural and agricultural ventures, educational institutions, commerce, sports, healthcare provision, communication and transportation sectors, human settlement and tourism, as well as vibrant Small and Medium Scale Enterprises activities
